Health & Safety Management

Our team are trained to comply with all up to date health and safety guide lines and regional council regulations within the workplace. All employees / sub contractors where required hold New Zealand

• Health & Safety in the Workplace - Level 3

• Advanced Fall Arrest Systems 15757

• Height and Harness Safety Unit standard: 23229 

• Elevated Work Platforms – Unit Standard 23964

• Scaffolding Safety

• Safety Observer – Unit Standard 17596

• First Aid & Safety – Unit Standard 23966

 

All Maintenance Works Representatives upon arrival to work sites, will (where possible) sign in with the Building owner or Manager and sign off when the job is completed. A through site inspection (Induction where required) and Hazard Identification inspection is completed to ensure risk assessment and management is done prior to work commencing (also known as 5x5)

All work covered by $10,000,000 Broad Spectrum - Statutory Liability Insurance

Rest assured that to date Maintenance Works and its employees are covered by Public and Private Liability insurance up to $10,000,000....Not that we have ever needed it and are proud to be incident free and plan to keep it that way. From time to time specialist contractors are engaged to work along side our team and sub contracts are in place and additional individual insurance is also provided in these instances.
